Construction continues at Cape Fear Community College on the Union Station Building.

Cape Fear Community College held it’s “topping out” ceremony on January 24,2012 in Wilmington, North Carolina  for the new 250,00 SF Union Station Building.  The design of the building was inspired by the look of a railroad depot that stood on the site nearly 100 years ago, and was owned by the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad.

The building, designed by LS3P and being constructed by Shelco,Inc., will include a student services center, classroom space, and labs for health care training.
